Aldi had corned beef on sale a few weeks ago for $2.99/lb. My Aldi in Brandon, FL just discounted them 50% off! I have never seen corned beef this cheap before! You can take it home and put it in the freezer in its original packaging for up to a month. I read that you don't even need to thaw it before cooking. Just put it in some boiling water like you do with fresh corned beef. You'll just have to cook it a little longer.
