Saving Money Mommy's Tip- Car Maintenance

You can actually save money by keeping up with your car maintenance.  There are so many major (and expensive) problems that can crop up if you don't do some maintenance on a regular basis.  You need to read the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual and follow it.  Two very simple and relatively inexpensive things you can do on a regular basis are:

  • Oil change- About every 3,000 to 4,000 miles
  • Rotate your tires- If you don't do this about every other oil change (or as recommended in your owner's manual), you will definitely need new tires sooner.  I learned this the hard way after wearing out my two front tires much sooner than expected by not rotating them.
Keep up with your regular maintenance and keep your car longer.

Go out today and get a great deal!
