My Publix Trip November 10th- All of this for $36.55!

I spent a little more than usual this week, but I stocked up on my breakfast essentials like cereal and pancakes.  My cereal stockpile was dwindling down to about 8, so I bought an additional 14 boxes of cereal this week.  My total this week was $36.55 (after the $5 rebate- see below) for $188.76 worth of groceries.  My savings was $152.21 or 81% off the retail price.  You can find this week's sale (which ends on 11/11) and coupon match-ups at Hot Coupon World.  Here are some of my best deals....

Aunt Jemima Pancakes $.85/each

Lender's Bagels (FREE for 2)- I emailed them telling them how much we love their bagels but wish they had more coupons available.  They mailed me a coupon for FREE bagels which I used in the BOGO sale this week.

CoffeeMate $.48/each

Nestle Morsels $.75/bag- I bought 6 for a total of $4.50.  I am also doing the Real Simple $5 Cash Rebate on these so they will end up all being FREE.

Gold Medal Flour $1.79/bag- This is a great deal that won't be around much longer.  The flour is on sale as an advantage buy for $2.29.  Pair that up with the $.50 printable coupon to make it only $1.79/bag.

I ended up using last week's purchases for dinner tonight.  I made Chicken Cutlets using the Progresso Bread Crumbs, the Near East rice and the Green Giant Broccoli & Cheese.  My husband loves General Tso's Chicken, but it costs too much ordering it from a Chinese Restaurant.  I bought the Perdue General Tso's Chicken today (on sale for $6.49) and used a $1.00 off coupon to make it only $5.49.  I'll pair that up with Uncle Ben's Brown Rice and Broccoli for tomorrow night's dinner.  I know there will be leftovers to use for lunch too.

Please email me with any questions.  Go out today and get a great deal!

  1. I have a great recipe for General Tso's chicken too. It takes more time than Perdue's does, I'm sure, but it's really yummy. Let me know if you want it!
